About these terms

These terms apply to the Be a Hero website and mobile game, operated by Tinkr Studio. Contact us at admin@tinkr.studio. By using the website or game, you agree to these terms.

Pre-release and alpha

Be a Hero is in development. Features, availability, rewards, supported devices and launch plans may change. Joining the alpha list registers interest in updates and does not guarantee an invitation or reserve a place. Alpha members receive an exclusive Alpha Cape and a free Legendary Chest.

Age and eligibility

Be a Hero is intended for people aged 13 or older. If you are under the age of legal adulthood where you live, ask a parent or guardian to review these terms and give any permission required by local law before using the game or subscribing.

Your hero and account

You are responsible for your use of your profile and for keeping any sign-in details secure. Current game profiles are anonymous and linked to the device; changing or losing the device can mean losing progress. Do not access another person’s account without permission. You can request deletion at beahero.app/deleteuser. Deletion removes the associated progress and rewards, subject to the Privacy Policy.

Playing fairly and safely

Use the service lawfully and respect other players. Do not interfere with the service, exploit vulnerabilities, impersonate others, use offensive hero names or use automated tools to disrupt play or leaderboards. We may investigate reports and restrict or remove access for misuse, subject to applicable law.

Be a Hero is a game for general fitness and wellbeing, not medical advice. Choose activities appropriate for you. Stop if anything hurts, and check with your doctor if you have a health condition. You are responsible for your safety and for following local rules when exercising or visiting places.

Membership and billing

All five skills are available free. Optional membership adds content and benefits, including additional recipes and books, premium chests and Double XP tokens. Membership is available monthly or annually when purchases are enabled. Purchases are not yet connected; when offered, the store will show the price, billing period, included benefits and any trial before you subscribe. Prices are set in the relevant store and may vary by location.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled through the Apple App Store or Google Play account used to subscribe. Any trial, introductory offer and renewal price are disclosed at purchase. Cancellation stops future renewals; access ordinarily continues until the end of the paid period, subject to store terms and applicable law. Deleting an account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds and price changes are governed by the relevant store’s terms and your legal rights.

Chests and rewards are earned through play or included in membership; they are not sold as separate one-off purchases. In-game rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred unless the game expressly allows it. Reward availability and odds are shown in the game where applicable.

App stores and licences

The store through which you obtain Be a Hero may apply its own terms. For an Apple App Store version, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless Tinkr Studio provides a separate licence. Tinkr Studio is responsible for the app and support, subject to applicable law and store terms.

Content and ownership

The Be a Hero name, artwork, game, text and other content belong to Tinkr Studio or their respective owners. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, distribute, modify or commercially use the content without permission, except where the law allows it.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we use information, including health, location and account information, and how to make a privacy request.

Availability, changes and your rights

The service and its content may change or be unavailable from time to time. We may update these terms and will make the current version available here. Nothing in these terms removes or limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
